REMEMBERING

7 June 1950 - 22 November 2021

We are deeply saddened by the passing away of David Hanlon on 22 November 2021.

TRM was very much the brainchild and creation of David's work, experiences and untested ideas coming together, packaged and made available to help people and organisations do things differently.

David Hanlon was originally of Deniliquin, growing up on  ‘Warwillah’ Station  in the Riverina district of NSW before completing his future studies in Melbourne.  He was an international business strategy and marketing consultant who in later years specialised in leadership and high-performance training.

David was a founder with Dr Terry McCosker of Resource Consulting Services (RCS)  before the successful co-founding of The Right Mind (TRM) with Jill Rigney in 2006.

His business analysis and benchmarking activities were undertaken for both corporate and private companies across Australia, Asia, Africa and both North and South America. He was ranked as one of the Asian Development Bank’s leading strategic market analysts during the 1990’s and early 2000’s.

He built his skills and expertise as a presenter and facilitator through extensive national and international experiences across many parts of the agribusiness supply chain. He worked with a strategic mindset and built strength in people’s abilities through challenge and support.

David is a Past President and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science, Past President of the Australian Association of Agricultural Consultants and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.

An inspiration to many and deeply missed.
