Leadership: David Hoadley, NSW Rural Fire Service

|  We have worked with David in two regions with the Service. One of the things that have distinguished David, has been the way he has moved into a new location and implemented his cultural change program with the same degree of passion and enthusiasm we saw in his previous location. He has also brought a level of innovation into linking public sector and the industry association, demonstrating a mentality of inclusion versus silos. Change within the public sector is never easy and David has demonstrated a willingness to bring fresh ideas to the organisation: most importantly, he has the ability to secure the engagement of a wide and diverse stakeholder base.

Young Leader: Natalie Temple, agrig8/Lallemand Animal Nutrition team

|  Natalie demonstrates an outstanding capacity to move from a place of uncertainty by making tough and clear decisions. Further, she has demonstrated the will to enact those decisions with passion and vigour.
There are few young people with the capacity to do as much as Natalie. She has demonstrated the ability to work, pursue higher education and continue with her horses. We look forward to continuing to work with (the future) Dr Temple.

Organisational Change - Carter & Spencer Group

|  It is easy to recognise the need for change, however showing leadership to put the right people on the bus is much harder......Carter and Spencer have done that. With foresight the GM and MD have brought Gareth White on board. We have been pleased to work with Gareth, whose strong value-driven approach to business and life, is quietly but effectively at work in Carter and Spencer. More
importantly, in the hurly burly atmosphere of fresh produce, he is doing this not by placing more stress on his people, but rather through focus and clarity which is delivered with inspiration. Well Done Gareth. |
